CICS Systems Programmer - Southern California

An 18 month contract opportunity exists with an end user in Southern California. This person will be part of a two-person systems team supporting CICS (primarily), z/OS, storage, and third party products. Qualified applicants will have a solid CICS systems programming background that includes CICS installation and troubleshooting. Rudimentary z/OS systems skills are also required for backup support. CICS Systems Programmer - Georgia End User

A respected and stable end user seeks an experienced mainframe systems programmer with a strong track record supporting CICS in a z/OS environment. Qualified applicants must have experience installing and supporting Transaction Server (4.x/5.x a plus) as well as a background in CICS-related troubleshooting (Abend-AID, Xpeditor, MainView, or IPCS a plus), performance analysis, and OEM product support. Experience with or knowledge of CICS Web Services, exit coding/maintenance, WebSphere MQ (or MQ/CICS interfaces), DB2, LU6.2, TCP/IP, SSL or RACF is a plus. This person will play a key role in an upcoming CICS/TS 3.2 to 5.2 migration. Our client offers a potential six-figure base salary with significant bonus of up to 25%. A two day a week telecommute is available after an initial probationary period. Relocation assistance is available.

CICS Systems Programmer - Salary to $100K

An immediate opportunity exists for an experienced CICS systems programmer to join an established company in the mid-Atlantic region to support a large CICS environment. Qualified candidates will be well versed in installation, maintenance and support of CICS/TS v4.1 running under z/OS v1.12. Experience with CTG, CICS Interdependency Analyzer, Omegamon XE, AbendAid and InterTest are highly desirable. Knowledge of DB2, WebSphere MQ (WMQ), and WebSphere Application Server (WAS) would be a definite plus. Strong communication skills are essential as responsibilities will also include disaster recovery exercise support and interfacing with applications staff to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of CICS application software features and changes. Additional desired skills include Assembler coding, performance monitoring, troubleshooting and program product installation and maintenance using SMP/E. This is a direct hire, full time position with a salary potential to $100K, plus benefits. Although non-local candidates will be considered, no relo assistance is provided.

CICS/Java Product Developer - Work from Home

CICS and/or DB2 Systems Programmer - Committed to the Mainframe

A Southeast U.S. end user has a great opportunity for an experienced mainframe systems programmer with CICS or DB2 expertise (preferably both). This person will assist with the installation, maintenance, tuning, and support of CICS, DB2 and all associated program products. Qualified applicants will have an MVS background that includes a minimum of two years of relevant CICS or DB2 systems experience and a total of five or more years of mainframe-oriented systems support. Strong SMP/E and good troubleshooting skills are a must. Experience with I/O tuning, z/VM, Linux, MQSeries, networking (VTAM, TCP/IP), ChangeMan ZMF, or CA/Compuware product knowledge is a significant plus.
