CICS/WMQ Systems Programmer - Colorado Data Center

An excellent opportunity exists for a seasoned CICS/WMQ systems programmer to join an organization that is experiencing record growth. Qualified candidates will have proven experience in the installation, customization troubleshooting and support of CICS/TS and WebSphere MQ (WMQ), preferably in large CICSPlex environment. Experience with any of the following is a definite plus: CICS/MQ internals and diagnostics, Shared Queues, CPSM, IPCS, 390/Assembler, or Disaster Recovery planning. Outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential. z/OS Systems Generalist - Wisconsin Industry Leader

A Wisconsin-based mainframe shop seeks a true "MVS generalist" to support its z/OS environment, including all the associated subsystems and OEM products. Qualified applicants will have experience with z/OS-related installation and maintenance (SMP/E) along with additional expertise in, exposure to, or a willingness to learn: CICS/TS, Comm Server (VTAM, TCP/IP), performance/tuning (WLM), security/audit processes, and mainframe storage administration (DFSMS/DFHSM). Senior CICS Systems Programmer - Three Year Minimum Contract

Our central U.S. client is looking for an experienced CICS contractor to maintain and enhance CICS/TS 5.1 and its related CICS monitors and debugging tools. This person must have solid mainframe systems programming skills that include systems programming support for CICS Transaction Server v4 or above. Excellent CICS systems and application-level troubleshooting is also a must. This is a three year minimum 1099 or W2 contract with likely extensions well into the future. Sr. CICS Systems Programmer - Washington, DC Area

Our DC area client has an immediate need for an experienced CICS Systems Programmer. This position offers the potential for direct hire or a long-term 1099 contract. Responsibilities will include: installation, customization, maintenance and support for CICS/TS in a Parallel Sysplex environment; implementation and maintenance of MRO; modification of CICS systems/regions; coding/maintaining CICS system exits; and performing CICS-related problem determination and resolution of ABENDs. This position offers a competitive salary or consulting rate as well as one telecommute day. Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Junior or Mid-Level Systems Programmer - Pennsylvania End User

Our very stable client seeks an up and coming systems programmer to assist in supporting their z/OS environment. This person should have rudimentary mainframe support skills in any of the following areas: z/OS, CICS, DB2, performance tuning, storage management, program product support, or z/OS-related troubleshooting. SMP/E installation and maintenance experience is a big plus. Salary will be commensurate with experience (up to the low $80s).

CICS Systems Programmer - Maryland Location

An immediate opportunity exists for an experienced CICS systems programmer to join an established company in the mid-Atlantic region to support a large CICS environment. Qualified candidates will be experienced in installation, maintenance and support of CICS/TS running under z/OS. Experience with CTG, CICS Interdependency Analyzer, Omegamon XE, AbendAid and InterTest are highly desirable. Knowledge of DB2, WebSphere MQ (WMQ), and/or WebSphere Application Server (WAS) would also be considered plusses. Additional desired skills include Assembler coding, performance monitoring, troubleshooting and program product installation and maintenance using SMP/E. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a conversion salary to the mid $80s. Although non-local candidates will be considered, no relo assistance is provided.
