This person will manage the storage, operating systems, database and performance staffs of approximately 15 people and be responsible for an annual budget of $10-15 million. Preferred strengths include creating and executing technology plans and architecting of storage and backup solutions. Knowledge of AIX and Solaris UNIX platforms, as well as Oracle and SQL databases is preferred. Experience with VMware and IBM Power system virtualization technology is a definite plus. Qualified candidates will design, test, and implement storage solutions for DASD, Tape, and Virtual Tape environments in response to customer needs and business growth.
