Qualified applicants will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience installing, implementing, and maintaining DB2 software and tools. Additional requirements include a demonstrated ability to improve DB2 availability and resiliency via in-depth knowledge of DB2 internals, sub-system environments, and performance monitors. Experience with DB2 problem determination/resolution and a willingness to provide rotating on-call support is also a must. Understanding DB2 DBA methodology and Project Leadership experience with an eye toward ensuring an efficient and reliable DB2 infrastructure will further enhance one's qualifications.
