z/OS Product Developer - Salary to $200k

Are you considered an MVS I/O guru? A leading software vendor has an immediate need for an exceptionally good assembler product developer with expert knowledge of MVS internals. Qualified applicants will have experience developing mainframe software products for a commercial software vendor and be expert in areas such as IOS subsystems, allocation/de-allocation, catalog internals, system exits, multi-tasking, FRRs, resource serialization, and real-time locking techniques. The primary focus of this position is the design and development of extremely complex system-level code for our client's most important product. Salary to $200k for the right person. Telecommuting is not a problem.

Pre/Post Sales Storage Engineer - Home-based KC Opportunity

An established supplier of storage systems integration solutions for Federal, State and Local government agencies has an immediate need for an experienced Systems Engineer to support clients in the Kansas City area. Responsibilities will include designing, attaching and configuring enterprise disk storage in NT, Open Systems, and S/390 environments. Storage solutions will focus on Enterprise-wide Storage, Disaster Recovery, Server Consolidation, Business Continuance, email archival, and Fault Tolerance. Preference will be given to candidates experienced in working with HDS, IBM, EMC and/or STK storage solutions. All candidates must be thoroughly familiar with Storage Area Networking (SAN) technology. Strong people and presentation skills are essential for providing pre-sales support to clients and sales staff. Outstanding compensation package includes lucrative base salary and significant bonus potential. Position can be home-based in or around the Kansas City area.

DB2 Product Developer - No Relocation Needed

A successful independent software vendor seeks an experienced mainframe product developer with strong DB2 internals and expert assembler coding skills. All applicants must have demonstrated DB2 systems knowledge (IFCID processing a plus) with additional expertise in z/OS internals, 64-bit coding, cross-memory services, and systems-level troubleshooting (IPCS, XDC). Previous commercial software development experience is an absolute requirement. Experience architecting a product or major product feature is highly desirable. Salary commensurate with experience.
