| This Ohio-based financial institution is preparing for rapid growth in the international community. As a result there is an immediate need for an experienced manager to oversee and grow the Distributed platform support staff. This person will manage the storage, operating systems, database and performance staffs of approximately 15 people and be responsible for an annual budget of $10-15 million. Preferred strengths include creating and executing technology plans and architecting of storage and backup solutions. Knowledge of AIX and Solaris UNIX platforms, as well as Oracle and SQL databases is preferred. Experience with VMware and IBM Power system virtualization technology is a definite plus. Superior compensation package includes a base salary plus bonus in the mid $100s range. Relocation assistance is available for exceptional candidates. | |

| A dynamic software vendor seeks a Product Development Manager to oversee a team of talented developers. Duties will include keeping products up-to-date with the latest OS changes and management of all product development and release activities with accountability for product quality and on-time delivery within budget. All applicants must have a proven background in managing a group of commercial product developers. Qualified candidates will also be knowledgeable and experienced, as either a manager or developer, in developing software for S/390 platforms. This should include experience with development life cycles, requirements research and definition, functional specifications, design documentations, project planning, and software test planning. Salary commensurate with experience. Choice of job locations in either Northern or Southern California. | |
