| A Washington, DC end user has a current need for a senior level Performance Analyst with a solid distributed background. All candidates must have strong skills in monitoring and tuning system resources in a large enterprise environment. This is a state-of-the-art datacenter that utilizes z/OS, AIX, Client/Server, Windows and Web platforms. Performance tuning expertise on a distributed platform (AIX and Linux) is required. Knowledge of mainframe and/or Windows platforms is a definite plus. Experience with project management, SAS PC, load testing, DB2 UDB, MQSeries, or application performance is also highly desirable. | Immediate opportunity exists at a premier vendor of enterprise storage solutions for an experienced storage systems engineer to provide pre- and post-sales support to DC-area clients. Successful candidates will have proven experience with technical presentations, design, and implementation of enterprise storage solutions for public sector and government clients. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced in the deployment of disaster recovery/business continuity replication solutions and Storage Area Networks. Experience with Hitachi Disk and Sun Tape technology is highly desirable. Knowledge of VMWare and HBA is a definite plus. Preference will be given to candidates with active government clearances. An excellent compensation structure includes a lucrative base salary and bonus with the potential for a $150K-$160K package. | |

| A respected DC-area end user seeks a highly motivated candidate to join its enterprise network engineering team. Should have solid knowledge of the following: SNA: VTAM; network protocols TCP/IP and DNS/DHCP; IDS; VPN; Ethernet; Frame/Relay or MPLS; and understand the OSI model. Knowledge of Nortel Switches is highly desired. Knowledge of CISCO Routers is a definite plus. Successful applicant will have demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving network system problems. Candidate must also have excellent communication and project management skills as well as the ability to provide attention to detail. The ability to work well in a team environment is essential. Candidates with minimal SNA-VTAM experience but solid TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, OSI model, and switch experience will be considered if open to learning.
