z/OS Product Developer - Salary to $200k

Are you considered an MVS I/O guru? A leading software vendor has an immediate need for an exceptionally good assembler product developer with expert knowledge of MVS internals. Qualified applicants will have experience developing mainframe software products for a commercial software vendor and be expert in areas such as IOS subsystems, allocation/de-allocation, catalog internals, system exits, multi-tasking, FRRs, resource serialization, and real-time locking techniques. The primary focus of this position is the design and development of extremely complex system-level code for our client's most important product. Salary to $200k for the right person. Telecommuting is not a problem.

Sr. Network Systems Consultant - Washington, DC Area

An immediate need exists at a facility in the DC area for an experienced communications systems programmer with strong VTAM and TCP/IP skills. This person will be responsible for design and implementation of the network architecture for multiple data centers as well as daily support of the existing network. Selected candidate will assist in a data center relocation, disaster recovery planning and testing, and a high-availability project. All applicants must have expert VTAM, NCP, SNA and TCP/IP systems programming skills in a z/OS environment. Experience with VIPA and HTTP Server protocols is highly desired. Secondary skills supporting z/OS are also a plus. This is a long term Corp-to-Corp contract opportunity with a competitive hourly rate.

Senior Enterprise Performance Analyst - Washington, DC Area

A DC-area end user is looking for a motivated candidate to join a group responsible for load and performance testing of enterprise applications. Position requires supporting application areas on new projects and working with various technologies, including J2EE and .NET. Proven experience in performance analysis and tuning in a z/OS SysPlex environment is essential. Familiarity with Performance Center, LoadRunner or a similar product is required. Shell programming, REXX, and/ or C/C++ is a plus. This position requires proven experience in data analysis and an understanding of performance tools such as TriTune and Strobe. Duties will include: reviewing and influencing application and system design; evaluating application processes from concept to production; monitoring daily system activity; analyzing load tests, and providing recommendations for performance and availability. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, lucrative profit sharing plan, and three weeks vacation.
