Pre-Sales Enterprise Systems Engineers - Make your mark!

A successful supplier of IT services to the Federal Government is branching into new territories and seeks to add three to four senior systems engineers to a new professional services team. These SEs will participate in pre-sales related activities for customers looking to migrate or consolidate enterprise level data centers. Responsibilities include: Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities; Meeting with clients to develop project questions, gaining an understanding of the environment; and assuring proposed project plans can be implemented. Assignments will focus on data center sourcing (e.g. hardware, software, and methodologies) with the candidates conducting primary research, including market surveys of vendors and users, preparing recommendations based on research, and presenting them clients. Strong presentation skills as well as Project/People management skills are essential. Working knowledge of the following areas is highly desired: Data center migrations, relocations, and consolidation; z/OS, z/VM-z/Linux, UNIX, Windows; VMware; enterprise storage architecture including SAN and LAN/WAN network technologies; and ITIL methodologies. These high visibility positions are excellent opportunities to bring your current skills to a new company and be correspondingly rewarded as you help develop a new business division. Base salary to 140K, depending on experience, plus bonus. There is a strong preference for initial hires to be based in the Washington, DC area.

z/VM-z/Linux Systems Programmer - Mid-Atlantic Region

A leading government contractor has an immediate need for an experienced systems programmer. Qualified candidates will have a solid z/OS and z/VM systems programming background as well as proven z/Linux expertise. Experience with z/VM performance and tuning is essential, preferably using Omegamon and/or Velocity performance products. Additional desirable skills include: VMSES, DIRMAINT, RSCS, REXX coding, and familiarity with CMS and CP commands. Senior HDS Storage Specialist - Federal Government

A Federal Government Agency, situated close to a Metro-friendly, downtown Washington, DC location, seeks an experienced storage expert with a strong background in Hitachi hardware and software. This person must be a U. S. Citizen with the ability to get a high-level security clearance. Qualified individuals will also have experience in the design, management, and monitoring of storage management systems in a distributed environment (Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows). Duties will include disk array configuration, SAN-related troubleshooting, microcode upgrades, and data replication/mirroring. Salary commensurate with experience.

Sr. Post-Sales Storage Engineer w/Clearance - Salary to $150K

An immediate need exists for an experienced professional to provide post-sales support for enterprise storage solutions at a secure government facility in the Washington, DC area. Responsibilities will focus on deploying disaster recovery/business continuity and data replication solutions as well as attaching and configuring enterprise disk storage and Storage Area Networks. Familiarity with Brocade, SUN Solaris and HDS TagmaStore and Lightning products is highly desirable as is prior S/E experience working for HDS, IBM, EMC or STK. Enterprise Storage Pre-Sales Engineer - Mid-Atlantic Region

An immediate need exists for a storage engineer with proven experience in pre-sales support activities. This position will be based in the DC area with mostly local travel. In addition to a solid technical background implementing storage solutions across multiple platforms, the ideal candidate will have polished presentation skills as well as experience architecting storage based solutions and writing technical proposals. Experience with Hitachi and NetApp storage is a definite plus. A Top Secret clearance is highly desired but not a requirement. Base-plus-bonus potential to the mid $100s or more.

Senior Enterprise Performance Analyst - Washington, DC Area

A DC-area end user is looking for a motivated candidate to join a group responsible for load and performance testing of enterprise applications. Position requires supporting application areas on new projects and working with various technologies, including J2EE and .NET. Proven experience in performance analysis and tuning in a z/OS SysPlex environment is essential. Familiarity with Performance Center, LoadRunner or a similar product is required. Shell programming, REXX, and/ or C/C++ is a plus. This position requires proven experience in data analysis and an understanding of performance tools such as TriTune and Strobe. Duties will include: reviewing and influencing application and system design; evaluating application processes from concept to production; monitoring daily system activity; analyzing load tests, and providing recommendations for performance and availability. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, lucrative profit sharing plan, and three weeks vacation.
