| A DC-area end user is looking for a motivated candidate to join a group responsible for load and performance testing of enterprise applications. Position requires supporting application areas on new projects and working with various technologies, including J2EE and .NET. Proven experience in performance analysis and tuning in a z/OS SysPlex environment is essential. Familiarity with Performance Center, LoadRunner or a similar product is required. Shell programming, REXX, and/ or C/C++ is a plus. This position requires proven experience in data analysis and an understanding of performance tools such as TriTune and Strobe. Duties will include: reviewing and influencing application and system design; evaluating application processes from concept to production; monitoring daily system activity; analyzing load tests, and providing recommendations for performance and availability.
