MQSeries Systems Programmer - Washington, DC Area

A successful DC-area firm seeks an MQSeries systems programmer to support their mainframe and distributed MQ network. This person will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting and supporting MQSeries for z/OS and Unix platforms. This is a great opportunity to learn a new platform. Qualified applicants will have exposure to MQ installs, resource definitions, monitoring, and complex troubleshooting. Experience with DB2, CICS, or third party MQSeries tools is highly desirable. MQSeries Product Developer - Live Anywhere

Here is an outstanding opportunity for a 390/assembler coder with an MQSeries background. A respected vendor has an immediate need for an experienced developer to join a team responsible for management and measurement products in the growing MQSeries space. Heavy MQ experience is preferred, but can be substituted with MQ exposure combined with a significant background with multitasking, concurrency, serialization, and queuing techniques. Sr. WebSphere/MQ Administrator - Six-Figure Compensation

A respected end-user in the mid-Atlantic area seeks to add an experienced professional to the Middleware group. Selected candidate will join a team responsible for the following: Installation and configuration of WebSphere Application Server, WMQ, and other J2EE software products; support of the application development cycle; support production implementations and resolve any production problems, support application production releases, monitor and tune production environment, resolve any problems related to Middleware; and write or modify scripts as necessary. Successful applicant will be organized self-starters with a demonstrated ability to keep up in a rapidly changing technical environment. Requirements include three-plus years of experience in two of the following operating systems: Windows (2000, 2003, or XP), UNIX (preferably Solaris and/or AIX) and LINUX (preferably Suse and/or Red Hat). Outstanding benefits package includes three weeks vacation and a lucrative profit sharing plan. Base salary to $90k.
