| An industry-leading mainframe technology vendor has an immediate need for an experienced Sales Engineer to design and deliver mainframe IT solutions to NY/NJ metropolitan area clients in the z/VM-z/Linux space. Qualified applicants will demonstrate experience and proficiency in z/Series technical support/architecture and pre/post-sales support. This should include product presentations and demonstrations, installation, implementation, and the ability to drive the sale of z/Series solutions. Specific expertise with z/VM problem determination, installation of mainframe ISV software and IBM middleware is also required. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position offers telecommuting, but requires heavy local (NY metro area) travel as needed. | |
