Senior z/OS Systems Programmer - Northern Virginia

An immediate need exists for an experienced z/OS systems programmer to support a government client in Northern Virginia. Qualified candidates will have experience supporting recent z/OS environments (z/OS 1.13 or 2.1 preferred). Experience with Sysplex configuration, Unix Systems Services (USS), Comm Server (VTAM, TCP/IP), IODF, or HCD is a plus. Responsibilities will include OS and ISV installation and maintenance, so in-depth experience with SMP/E is a must. In addition to traditional duties such as problem determination/resolution, performance tuning and end user support, this person will assist with planning, coordinating and managing technical projects as well as providing strategy for implementation of new technologies. z/OS Systems Programmer - Arizona Industry Leader

z/OS Product Developer - Work from Home

A small, privately held software vendor has an immediate need for an expert 390/assembler product developer with an intimate knowledge of z/OS and JES2 internals as well as task-level control block structures. In addition to solid z/OS installation and maintenance (SMP/E) skills, qualified will have hands on experience with systems-level troubleshooting.
