Multiple z/OS Systems Programmers - Active TS Clearance

An immediate need exists for several z/OS systems programmer generalists to support a federal government contract in Maryland. Desired skills include: installation and maintenance of z/OS operating system and associated program products using SMP/E; problem analysis and resolution; Automated Operations experience utilizing OPS/MVS, OPS/MVS Multi-System Facility (MSF), CA-Scheduler, BMC MainView Console Management for zEnterprise and REXX; and storage administration utilizing FDR, ICKDSF and Hitachi's Storage Navigator. Experience coding with SAS and Assembler is a definite plus. All positions require an active Top Secret clearance and offer a competitive six-figure salary.

Senior z/OS Systems Programmer - Northern Virginia

An immediate need exists for an experienced z/OS systems programmer to support a government client in Northern Virginia. Qualified candidates will have experience supporting recent z/OS environments (z/OS 1.13 or 2.1 preferred). Experience with Sysplex configuration, Unix Systems Services (USS), Comm Server (VTAM, TCP/IP), IODF, or HCD is a plus. Responsibilities will include OS and ISV installation and maintenance, so in-depth experience with SMP/E is a must. In addition to traditional duties such as problem determination/resolution, performance tuning and end user support, this person will assist with planning, coordinating and managing technical projects as well as providing strategy for implementation of new technologies.
