| A well-known metropolitan New York end user has an immediate need for a proven DB2 Systems Programmer to monitor a mission critical state-of-the-art DB2 data sharing environment. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of DB2 internals, with specific focus in the area of performance engineering/tuning. Qualified candidates must demonstrate thorough knowledge of DB2, including traces/IFCIDs and DB2 ISV performance tools (CA, BMC, Compuware, ASG, etc.). Additional experience in application performance tuning, SQL coding/debugging, DB2 Explain, DB2 access path assessment, and DB2 memory management is also required. REXX and Java coding expertise is also a plus.
