| A very stable Baltimore/Washington area end user has a current need for a senior level Capacity Performance Analyst with a solid distributed background. All candidates must have strong skills in monitoring current and projected resource utilization in a UNIX environment. This is a state-of-the-art environment that consists of mainframe, UNIX, Client/Server, Windows and Web platforms. Capacity planning expertise on a distributed platform (AIX and Linux) is required. Knowledge of mainframe and/or Windows platforms is a definite plus. Experience with project management, network-to-network tuning, or application performance is also highly desirable. Superior compensation includes a six-figure base salary plus additional bonus and outstanding benefits. | |

| An excellent opportunity exists for a Performance specialist with a distributed background (preferably Linux, UNIX or Windows) to join a nationally recognized end user based in the Washington, DC area. Qualified candidates will have experience with application/systems integration, performance analysis, and measurement of systems software and database systems. Excellent analytical skills and a solid knowledge of performance tools, methodologies and techniques are required to identify and troubleshoot performance and scalability problems. Experience with application integration in two or more of the following areas is preferred: Oracle, MQSeries, UDB, SQL, J2EE, HTML, UNIX, LINUX, and Web Services residing on rack and multi-server configurations. This person will be responsible for evaluating and affecting application and system design, evaluating application processes from concept to production, analyzing load tests, and providing recommendations for performance and availability. Base salary to $100K.
