| Our Alabama client has an immediate need for an experienced CICS Systems Programmer to install, maintain and support CICS/TS 3.2, and evaluate/recommend and install CICS-related software. Qualified candidates must have at least 10 years of mainframe systems programming (z/OS 1.7+), including five years of CICS/TS (2.3+) installation, maintenance and support. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in software debugging, problem resolution, disaster recovery, and be prepared to provide rotating 24/7 on-call and remote support to CICS users. Additional experience/familiarity with TCP/IP, CICS Web services, and MQSeries is also a plus. This position offers a completive base salary.
